There was a time when, from the outside, my life looked beautiful. Fashion. Art. Success. Recognition. Yet beneath it all, I was carrying pressure, uncertainty, and moments of deep self-doubt.
Many successful people know this feeling. We learn how to achieve. But very few of us learn how to return to ourselves.
In my twenties, after leaving Vietnam for London, I created a fragrance called The Calling. Not to sell. Not to impress. But to remind me who I was beneath the noise and the pressure.
It became an anchor through ambition, creativity, reinvention, heartbreak, and everything in between. Years later, I worked with master perfumers Bertrand Duchaufour and Mark Buxton to create a collection of award winning, luxury fragrances recognised around the world.
The perfumes were beautiful. But over time, I came to understand they could be something deeper. A ritual. A reminder. A return.
When Covid arrived and the world became quiet, I turned inward and began exploring the deeper connection between scent, emotion, and identity.
I realised something very simple: How we feel shapes how we work, how we live and ultimately the results we create. Today, Phuong Dang™ Perfumes returns with deeper meaning and purpose.
